It’s raining… and it’s cold! The central heating has had to go on, I’m afraid. So, how have I cheered myself up in this gloomy weather? I’ve had a look at some of the photos taken in Marmaris and Turunc, the setting for ‘Friendship, Love and Apple Tea’, and thought I’d share them with you on here.
If you haven’t ever been, it’s a beautiful part of Turkey. I’ve been travelling to the Marmaris region now for about 15 years and, to be honest, it has gone a little bit too touristy in places. But, it’s fun and vibrant and the weather is beautiful. Turunc is a little quieter, and reminds me of the ‘old’ Marmaris, before it became so busy and crazy. If you get a chance to go there, please do.
We’ve many happy memories of Turkey as a family – my husband and I honeymooned there, I spent two weeks there ‘very’ pregnant, our daughter first visited the country at just 11 weeks old… lots of fun, and lots of lovely friends made.
So, here’s some pictures… I hope they warm you up on this cold and wet day!
